In-Depth Production Worker Training

We are committed to ensuring new production workers have the necessary knowledge and familiarity with their role to succeed, which is why we ease workers into their roles instead of overwhelming them on day one.

New production employees spend their first week in a classroom and test environments with our master trainers. They use training machinery that allow them to make mistakes as they learn basic Teel mechanical applications and processes.

Throughout the week, new hires learn about:

  • Safety requirements
  • Quality measurements (tolerances and gauging)
  • Interpreting work orders
  • Teel’s online systems

But the training doesn’t end after the first week. New hires are assigned an on-the-job trainer to work with while they are in the actual production environment. In addition, supervisors will do a weekly one-on-one check-in with each new hire for the first month, and then bi-weekly check-ins for the rest of their first three months.
